Gift Making Ideas

The Thanksgiving break was awesome! Lots of rest, cooking, and fun times with family. Now its Tuesday and definitely time to get back to work.

Christmas is coming so it's a great time to focus on making some beautiful gifts for friends and family. Gifts don't have to be expensive to be beautiful. You can purchase some cute items and embellish them yourself to make them personalized for the recipient. You know I love embroidery, so here are some fun ideas:

  1. Buy a fleece throw and monogram it for the recipient - a great choice is this one: Scallop Three Letter Circle MonogramABC SC SAM You can choose the letters, arrange them properly and stitch in the corner of the blanket - always a great gift! The entire embroidery set is only $13 and you can use it on lots of projects.
  2. Buy a set of cloth napkins in a Christmas color and stitch the corner with a cute design like this one: Christmas Holly BerriesHolly & Berries This design is super cute and quick to stitch and at only $4 it's a must have design.
  3. Buy a set of beautiful pillowcases and stitch with this one: French Flair Monogram Set This turns out super cute: fffThis entire monogram set is $13 and easy to stitch.

These are just a few ideas! The possibilities are endless. Keep your eyes open as you shop this season and see products with the prospect of stitching something on them to make them even more wonderful gifts that your friends and family will love!
