August Already?

Wow! I can hardly believe that the month of August is here. This month always signals that Summer is coming to an end. School, football, & church activities usually begin to fill our calendar as the month progresses. I love summer, but I am usually ready for this kickoff to fall and all the activities that come with it. (And the moments of solitude to plan and get things done at home and with my embroidery business as everyone resumes their respective programming). 

This month my daughter, the 3rd grade teacher, is prepping her classroom for her new class. My daughter, the college student, is to begin here sophomore year as a nursing student. My hubby, worship pastor and photographer extraordinaire, is launching music and fall programming for church and scheduling photoshoots in the sunflower & cotton fields of our beautiful state :) Me? I'm doing analytics of products and designs to determine what items to keep, which ones to discontinue, and new ones to introduce while also keeping the household fed and on track. Well, at least that's what I'm trying to accomplish :)
