Welcome to Joyful Stitches

Joyful Stitches opened in 2007 and is an internet based company. Owner, Kim Thompson,  has been sewing, smocking, crocheting, quilting, and embroidering since she was a child. Blessed with a Grandmother and Mother who valued the art of hand and machine crafted items, Kim made pillows, blankets, doll clothes, Christmas stockings  - everything she could think of and design while growing up. As an adult, Kim has continued to design and sew for herself, her daughters, her friends, and for you - her treasured customers.

Kim holds degrees in Business Administration, Management, and Nursing. She and her husband, Richard, have been married 21 years and have two daughters. Kim began plans to launch www.joyfulstitches.net in 2005. She realized that machine embroiderers like herself wanted cute and fun designs and monogram sets that were easy to use for personal and business projects. So…the designing began! Now with hundreds of designs available, Joyful Stitches ships designs worldwide for home and business embroiderers.
